Riding through the quiet parts of Bali, Noah kept passing warehouses stacked with enormous suar slabs — some of the most beautiful wood in the world, sitting unused.
Back home in Virginia, his father — a lifelong craftsman with a shop full of industrial saws, mills, and sanders — was looking for work that meant something. The two ideas became one business.
